100 Micron Sieve

The 100 Micron Sieve may be used with the Sieve Bucket Adapter or Sieve Tank Trim Adapter or as a stand-alone sieve.   100 micron is the ideal size for catching adult copepods, Artemia (Brine Shrimp) or other large species of zooplankton.

This premium, stackable sieve was created after dropping a DIY style PVC pipe made sieve one too many times while harvesting copepods and rotifers.  Our sieve was designed in-house by us, at Hackers’ Reef.

We wanted to create a simple sieve that was not bulky and could be used with a variety of culture vessels and aquariums. The plastic parts are 3D printed with time tested and fish safe materials that we trust in our own systems.  The filter mesh is made from high quality, chemical resistant nylon for years of use in fresh or salt water.  The filter size is engraved into the sieve for quick identification and these markings will never fade or peel off over time like stickers do.
